Full name: Orlando Bloom

Eye color: his eyes are Brown. (for The Lord of the Rings, Orli had to wear special contact lenses to make his eyes look super-blue?)
Hair: He may have long blonde hair in The Lord of the Rings, but his natural hair colour is brown.
His Pets: A dog named Maude.
First job: At 13 he was a clay trapper. "I set the clay disks the gentlemen would try to shoot" he says. "it was fun to be out in the fresh air."
What was he like in school?: "I never really responded to teaching." Orli says. "I was always far more interested in what was happening on the playing fields."
Girls he falls for: Orlando says that he likes blondes and "Nice, sweet girls" "I'm a good boyfriend, but I'm pretty intense," he says. "When you are with me it's exciting, fun and very intense. At the same time I'm easy-going. But it depends on the girl I'm with."
Does he have any bad habits?: "I bite my nails. Seriously, I've quit smoking so it feels pretty good right now. On the other hand I have a tendency to drift off, disappear into my own little world. Some people might take that as if I'm being rude."
First car: A green VW Gold. "I bought it for 160 quid [about $230] at an auction. I still wish I had it."
Hobbies: "I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so I love to go out there and do kind of crazy stuff which is slightly outrageous, like bungee-jumping, skydiving, surfing and that sort of stuff. But I also like to just chill with my friends and go and see movies and do normal things." He says "I went off at the highest bungee jump in New Zealand, 134 meters, like six times. To throw yourself in the air with only something attached to you feet is a different head space altogether."
Oh no!: It seems our Orlando is always hurting himself. "I'm rather accident-prone, I have to admit," Orlando told Interview magazine. "I've broken my back, my ribs, my nose, both my legs, my arm, my wrist, my finger and a toe, and I've cracked my skull three times." He once fell three floors out of a window while trying to get to a roof terrace. Doctors had said that he probably wouldn’t ever walk again. "I actually had a miraculous recovery. I walked out in 12 days, pinned and platted, it refocused me, made me really appreciate life," Orli says.
Tattoos?: Yea…He has two - the Elvish symbol for nine on his wrist like everyone else in the LOTR fellowship and a sun below his belly button.
Family: Orlando has 1 sister, Samantha, who is also an actor. Harry Bloom, his dad.  "Harry was a great man who died when I was four, and it was as if he'd done his job and then left the world." Orli has said.
Married?: Nope,Single. "My career is about the most special thing in my life at the moment and my friends and family. But there's no romance."
First celebrity crush: Linda Evans. "I used to watch Dynasty as a kid. My aunt is a commercial producer in New York and she'd done a commercial with her. I can still remember getting this signed photo of Linda."
His Fears: Hes mainly afraid of sharks. "Me and Billy Boyd, who plays Pippin in LOTR, were out surfing late one night during the NZ shootings. Billy saw a fin and started paddling towards me in panic. It turned out to be a seal, but we were all jittery and got out of the water right away."
Getting the part Legolas: "There was never any question whether I would do or wouldn't do it, it was just a case of, 'Where do I sign up?' It's been the best time ever and a life-changing experience." He said, "It was the opportunity of a lifetime."
Describing Legolas: "Elves have angelic spirits, deepest sorrow, greatest joy. I'm the eyes and ears of the fellowship and switched on all the time because elves don't sleep."
Filming LOTR: The cast of LOTR all became close because they spent 18 months in New Zealand filming all 3 movies.  Mainly the guys though, the guys spent a lot of time joking around on set, especially Orlando and Viggo Mortensen, who plays Aragorn. "Viggo will go on about Elves and how they're always doing their nails and brushing their long, blonde hair, and being all prissy," says Orlando. "And I just say: Well, at least I'm going to live forever!"
What he thinks about LOTR web sites: "That really freaks me out. That many people taking an interest is scary. The Internet is a scary thing. I'm a complete technophobe, which is why I don't have e-mail. My mum wants me to start an official web page."
His great friends: "I have friends around me who would hit me as soon as I get arrogant."
